Kennel Attendant

A Paw Above Colorado Springs, CO is seeking hardworking and enthusiastic dog lovers to provide excellent customer service while assisting with Doggie Day Care and Boarding, heavy cleaning and play yard monitoring. Applicants must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills! A Paw Above applicants must be at least 18 years or older.

Part-time position: 15-25 hrs/week
Opportunity for more hours as skills are developed, if wanted.

Main Job Duties include:

• Maintaining a clean environment

• Feeding, cleaning kennels, lifting heavy items

• Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members

• MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!

• Provide excellent customer service

• Friendly, organized and customer service driven

• Able to work in an extremely fast paced work environment.

Essential Skills

• Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality.

• Must be able to be on time and be accountable.

• DEPENDABLE and RELIABLE! These dogs count on us!

• Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills!

• MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!! Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 18 years or older.

• Be able to lift dog food and supplies.

• Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift

Must be punctual candidates with flexible or open availability, including weekends and holidays, as we are open for business 365 days a year.

Pay: $13.65 per hour

Opportunity for up to a dollar raise at 3, 6 & 12 months!
Room for growth to a kennel lead or management position.
